1. About Key Verified
Key Verified provides information, research, independent verification services, company directory listings, editorial rankings, and related resources concerning property management companies.
Key Verified is intended to help property owners research and compare property management companies. Information on the website should be used as one part of your own due-diligence process.
2. Verification Is Not an Endorsement
A Key Verified designation means that the company completed the applicable Key Verified review process based on the information and documentation available to Key Verified at the time of review. Verification is not an endorsement, certification, guarantee, or prediction of future performance.
Verification does not guarantee the quality of a company's services, financial performance, tenant or owner outcomes, future conduct, licensing status beyond the information actually reviewed, insurance coverage beyond the information actually reviewed, or continued compliance with any requirement.
Property owners and other users remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any business relationship.
3. Editorial Rankings
Key Verified may publish editorial rankings, including Top 10 market rankings. These rankings are based on Key Verified's stated editorial methodology and research and may consider publicly available information, company information, reputation context, service coverage, experience, market relevance, and other factors described by Key Verified.
Editorial ranking placement cannot be purchased. A company does not need to be Key Verified to appear in an editorial ranking, and being Key Verified does not guarantee a particular ranking or placement.
Rankings may change as information changes, new research becomes available, or Key Verified updates its editorial assessment.
4. Directory Listings
Directory inclusion and Key Verified verification are separate. A company may appear in the Key Verified Directory or an editorial ranking without being Key Verified.
A directory listing does not by itself represent a verification, endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by Key Verified.
5. Company-Submitted Information
Companies may submit information, documents, updates, and other materials to Key Verified. Companies are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of information they submit.
Key Verified may independently research, review, compare, or verify submitted information. Submission of information does not guarantee publication, verification, ranking, or any particular outcome.
6. Corrections and Disputes
Companies and other appropriate parties may request corrections to factual information through Key Verified's correction or dispute process. Key Verified may review such requests and determine whether a correction is warranted.
A correction request does not guarantee that Key Verified will change an editorial conclusion, verification outcome, ranking, or other determination.
7. Paid Services and Independence
Key Verified may offer optional paid services, including clearly identified featured placements, sponsorships, profile or marketing services, case-study services, or other promotional services.
Payment for an optional service does not purchase verification, a favorable verification outcome, editorial ranking placement, or a particular editorial conclusion. Sponsored or promotional placements will be identified as such where applicable.
8. Website Content and Accuracy
Key Verified seeks to provide useful and reasonably current information, but information may become outdated, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. Key Verified does not guarantee that every item of information on the website is complete, current, or error-free.
Third-party information, public records, company-submitted information, and other sources may change after publication.
9. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, public records, or services. Key Verified does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, policies, or practices of third parties.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent or intentionally misleading information, impersonate another person or company, manipulate rankings or verification processes, or use automated methods to access the website in a manner that could impair its operation.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, Key Verified's name, logos, verification badges, original editorial content, graphics, design elements, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Key Verified and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used commercially without permission.
12. No Warranties
The website and its information are provided on an “as available” and informational basis. To the extent permitted by law, Key Verified disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties concerning availability, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Key Verified and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on information contained on the website, including directory listings, verification information, editorial rankings, company information, or other published content.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
