Corrections & Disputes
Key Verified is committed to accurate, transparent company information. This page explains how to request a factual correction or raise a concern about information published in a Key Verified profile.
When to request a correction
Companies, property owners, and other interested parties may contact Key Verified when they believe a published fact is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or incorrectly attributed.
- Company information: incorrect name, contact details, service areas, or other factual profile information.
- Verification information: a factual error in a verification finding or a finding that is based on information incorrectly attributed to the company.
- Changed information: information that was accurate when reviewed but has materially changed and should be updated.
What is not a correction
- Disagreement with Key Verified’s published verification standards by itself.
- Disagreement with an accurate factual finding simply because the finding is unfavorable.
- A request to remove accurate information, improve a verification outcome, or change an organic ranking.
- A request for verification, endorsement, or ranking treatment in exchange for payment.
How to submit a request
- Identify the profile. Tell us which company profile or published information you are referring to.
- Identify the specific issue. Clearly describe the statement or finding you believe is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or incorrectly attributed.
- Provide supporting evidence. Include relevant documents, links, records, or other information that helps establish the correct facts.
- Key Verified reviews the request. We may request additional information when necessary to evaluate the issue.
- We update confirmed errors. If a factual error is established, Key Verified will correct the relevant information as appropriate.
Our independence
Submitting a correction or dispute does not guarantee that information will be changed or removed. Key Verified retains independent editorial judgment and evaluates requests based on the available evidence and its published standards.
Key Verified does not sell corrections, verification outcomes, removal of findings, higher organic rankings, or guaranteed endorsements.
